Hi my AES collection. I also have MVS, CD, pocket, ports, etc.. but this is my AES set so far.

Haha, actually I keep the gaming items limited to the garage and extra 2 bedrooms. I rotate things in and out of storage.

Oh they were built for me by a friend. I don't have the skills to do such things haha.

Snack shop? Haha, actually I would love to setup a little retro showa style candy shop neighborhood arcade. The kind of thing you would have seen in Japanese neighborhoods in the 80s and early 90s.

Oh ok, those are all made from scratch. Not by me, I don't have any talent like that haha. I also have some smaller ones, also fully functional/playable. I also have a NeoGeo "mini console" (NOT NeoGeo X, it is smaller) that is made from scratch running raspberry Pi with all games including NeoGeo Pocket.



















I think you might have got the context of dagashiya mixed up in Hi Score Girl. A candy/snack shop like a dagashiya in the 80s/90s would usually have small arcade machines out front or inside, sometimes even full sized arcade machines. As seen Hi Score Girl and also the live action drama No Con Kid (good show!, very similar to Hi Score Girl and came out years before HSG anime).
